Lauantaina uuden vuoden aaton aattona Vale da Pintan golf kenttä pidettiin suljettuna ja silloin oli mukava lähteä sinne kävelemään kameran kanssa.

Keskellä kenttää eli väylien 12 ja 15 välissä on hieno lampi, jossa viihtyy aina lintuja.

Tälläkin kertaa paikalla oli 15 nokikanaa, 6 sinisorsaa, 2 merimetsoa, 2 punasotkaa ja 1 harmaahaikara.

On Saturday, on the eve of New Year’s Eve, the Vale da Pinta golf course was closed and it was nice to go there for a walk with the camera.

In the middle of the field, i.e. between fairways 12 and 15, there is a nice pond where birds always enjoy themselves.

This time too there were 15 coots, 6 mallards, 2 cormorants, 2 pochard and 1 grey heron.

The mallards, on the other hand, play follow the leader.

And then one couple moved to the other side of the pond (they probably didn’t get along well with the others).

The common pochards were just sleeping or otherwise just being shy.

The pond’s most common inhabitants, the eurasian coots, were in a calm mood today and just swam apart from each other.

Nämä linnut oleskelivat siis lammella, mutta kyllä kentällä varsinkin kuului myös muita lintuja, joista yleisin oli varpunen. Näin myös muutaman siniharakan, mustarastaan sekä västäräkin.

So these birds stayed at the pond, but yes, you could especially hear other birds in the field, the most common of which was the sparrow. I also saw a few iberian magpies, black thrushes, and white wagtails.
